About Us

How We Got Started

Since 2007, Dr Karine has been using handmade linens at her chiropractic office in Alberta, Canada. In 2018, she decided that it was time to offer the same eco friendly alternative to the world. The chiropractic headrest linens are handmade with love in the East Kootenay, BC.

We strive to provide you with more eco-friendly alternatives, so we are in search of a variety of more sustainable and environmentally friendly fabrics such as bamboo, organic cotton, tencel, recycled polyester, etc.

If you have any special requests for fabric type, pattern or size please contact us by email or phone and we will do our best to manifest what you are looking for!

How To Use The Linens

Good for the environment, good for you

The linens can be washed and reused. They will last between 5 and 10 years, depending on how many times per week you wash them and the type of fabric you choose.

How to use the linens with the chiropractic tables:

1)You can lay a non-skid grip shelf liner on the headrest, threading it under the metal bar between the two cushions so that it stays nicely in place. Then you lay the linen on top, pressing down the middle to leave space for breathing.

2) You can lay the linen directly on the headrest, pressing down the middle to leave space for breathing.

3) You can lay one linen on each side of the headrest.

Our Environmental Values

When considering the sustainability of a product, you have to analyze its whole life cycle:

What resources were necessary to grow the raw materials? How were they sourced? Which raw materials are used? Which resources were necessary during the manufacturing process? How long can the product be useful? How is the product disposed of? Can it be recycled?

Overall, even if fabric is not perfect, it is environmentally more sound than using single use paper. Lots of water and trees will be spared as the pulp and paper industry uses more water to produce a ton of product than any other industry.

Please don't forgot to recycle your linens when they are worn out!
